I installed a script to allow the TouchBB iPhone app read the forum. If anyone tries it please post if it works or any bugs.

I've downloaded TouchBB to my iPhone, but i'm unable to log in to the forum. I keep getting the message "The server could not be reached. Please check your internet connection and try again". However, I know the software is working and my conection is o.k. as i'm able to log in to the "support.messgaeforums.net"

I've tried the following URL "www.holographyforum.org" and have entered my username and password in setup. Looking at "support.messageforums.net" (which is the default forum that comes with TouchBB it seems it could be a possible error in the way the script is implemented at your end.

However, it's also quite possible i'm not using the correct URL. Could you let me have the definative URL that you know should work and then I can rule that out?

Many thanks for trying this, if I can get it to work it will be an excellent addition. If there's any further information you need just give me a shout.

The script is at:

which is:

http:// www . holography forum . org / phpBB2 / touchbb . php

I should be able to test it from my end in a couple of days.

I think you just need to point it to:

http:// www . holography forum . org / phpBB2

The BB needs to be capitalized.

I made a change to the cookie path. Let me know if it works now.

Well, they released a free version and it works on my phone as well.

I was also able to make the forum compatible with the Tapatalk application for iPhone and Android. If someone uses it please post your results.

I fixed the bug that kept TouchBB from displaying images. It is a pretty good viewing experience. I hope that phpBB develops a cell phone recognition package soon. There is a great deal of talk on the development fora.
