Instead of slits, try it with a hologram. Make two holograms of circles (say a circular disk made of plastic), but arrange for the object to be off center and about 25cm away. Have one object slightly left of centre but less than the diameter of the circle. Similarly have the other object right of center. Now put both holograms very close together. Block one and you'll see a circle, block the other and you see the other circle. Now illuminate bothr and I think you'll see a parallel universe!

Will I owe property taxes in this parralel universe also? I think one universe is plenty!
