i think a 2 beam refection can be done if the refrence wave come off the object to the plate is 1:1 ,also alcohal baths help alot to get a very bright image i was able to get a gold orange...this way using potassium ferricyanide as my bleach.. and no fixing

it takes a bit of time to work out the right densitys and process after water bath just as if it was a dcg it come out brite gold..even red if you pull it out fast enuff
