We generally coated on Friday, and left the plates to dark react at least till Monday, usually till Wednesday. In about two weeks, we got optimal performance, but after that images tended to get weaker (this is San Diego).
I guess I've committed to my current course, rather than pseudo color. Probably because I've had some tantalizing success (but countless failures). The below hologram was about as far as I got in 2015:
But I have persistent haze problems, which I currently think are due to the non-dark-reacting layer (high pH) prior to exposure.
