Exquisitely excruciating! Especially the soundtrack. I think the pain is fading now...

Holography Documentary Trailer on YouTube
hi,
i directed this film for my senior thesis,
i also assist at the holocenter in lic, ny (holocenter.org)
this trailer is kind of a rough first look, i just finished my school cut, which is limited to 30 minutes
the film delves briefly into interference as a key principle of holography, as well as shows various holographers talk about what attracted them, the technical limitations they faced, the future of the medium, and a look at the 3 step creation of a pulse portrait (pulse system, developing, transfer to white light)
some of the people i interviewed were; ken dunkley, rudie berkhout, jody burns, sam moree, doris vila, jason sapan..and more, about a dozen holographers in all.
i have enough for a full length doc, however, to get my work screened i had to limit the runtime to 30 minutes..if i see their is any sort of the interest in the project, i'll more then likely extend it to full length as it's a lot to cram into a half hour.
if you're in the new york area, you can attend the screening of the film in a legitimate theater in early may. i'll know the exact date soon, i'd imagine most if not all the holographers in the film will be in attendance.
in a week or so it'll get a real, legit, straight forward trailer, as well as information on screenings, a website where hopefully one can view the entire film as well as entire interviews sorted by holographer.
you can watch the current wip here in higher resolution:

if you have any questions, i'll attempt to answer 'em here,
thanks guys. enjoy.
