Table Design improvements needed
I welded (JB Weld) the two breadboards together to make one larger breadboard 60 x 36 in. While not perfectly flat (the boards are slightly different thickness) the weld appears to have added some stability to my table top. Made a nice multi color split beam reflection hologram with the new setup. I...

Selling it all [532 nm etc]
A seriously tempting offer ... if only I were in Europe.

4 Lasers to build a 3D Hologram
metalstar, Are you asking how to make a hologram with 4 lasers? Do you have something already set up? or are you asking how you could "make a hologram" using 4 lasers? Are you thinking of using the 4 lasers to make (replay) a hologram from digital data unput? Are you trying to project imag...

Essential holography components
Looking forward to adding some new to me equipment to the table. Looks like I will be getting a couple of spatial filters, plater holder, posts, bases, beam director... I anticipate some nice clean holograms with no plate movement, and I hope to be asking myself: " how did I do this without pla...

Beam delivery with fibers
John, Would love to see (or hear about) the results. I presume you will be using the fibers to illuminate the object an the plate, but not the wavefront from the object as they did in the paper because, as you pointed out, it would be a very limited viewpoint. I am interested in how much light loss ...

Table Design improvements needed
While at PCG4 there were discussions about table design and stability. I mentioned that I use two breadbards (each 18/60) on top of several layers of other material including 5 legs cynder blocks then thin layer of foam (1/8 inch) 1 inch plywood (36 x 66 inches) racquet balls (cut in half) 1 inch pl...

Beamsplitter reflections
At PCG4 I mentioned that my beamsplitter (Jodon variable) produces three reflection beams - this sounded interesting or wrong to some. After arriving home I tested and found - yes at many different angles my beamsplitter does have three (or more) reflected beams with decreasing brightness and 2 tran...

Below are a couple of the holograms I showed at PCG
The next is my two color H-1 used to create the two color image plane reflection hologram that I took to PCG. I will post an image of the H-2 tomorrow

A boat load of thank yous to Joy and Dinesh for their hospitality, both at the lab and their home. You guys are very gracious and generous hosts. I appreciate all that you did for us (me), including dinner Friday night! Thank yous are also in order for those who brought parts of their holography col...
