Not sure though about Comet due to very fine scratching of glass. Maybe ok for DCG but not if you're trying to coat a 1-2um layer of resist I would suspect.

Looking for a few Newport MMB mag bases if you have some extras at a reasonable price. Could also use a few MB-1 mag bases, VPH-3 & 4 tubes in good condition, and posts for them.
