Re: Looking for Larry Lieberman holograms
Have you checked with Abe Rezny? He’s on Facebook. I know he had at least two although he may have sold them.

Re: Silver Halide Recipe / Formula please
I’ve never coated my own plates or film with silver halide mainly due to concerns re archival quality and adhesion. Virtually all of my work from 70s and 80s done on Agfa 8E56 is holding up well so far. I’ve stayed away from DCG for the same reason although Augie Muth may have solved the archival DC...

Re: Zero order quartz wave plate options?
Apparently zero order type is less sensitive to temperature shift than multi order. I’m not combining 532nm beams. I’m changing over from disk based VBS to polarizing cube VBS for greater object beam stability and smoother/finer beam ratio control. Two different setups - one with about 100mw of powe...

Zero order quartz wave plate options?
I’m planning on putting together three 532nm polarizing cube beam splitter setups. I’m looking at three possibilities for zero order quartz half wave plates from Star Optic in China. The choice is between cemented, optically contacted, and air spaced. They’ll be used with up to 450mw of beam power. ...

Flat bed scanner as dip coater?
Has anyone here ever tried to recycle a flat bed scanner mechanism as a dip coater for plates or film?

Re: questions about pepper ghost effects
First, you are in the wrong place. This is a forum for true holography, not pepper’s ghost tech.
Regardless, here’s a link to find out more about how to create the pepper’s Ghost illusion:

Re: Fundamentals of Photonics Volume 1
It’s sometimes hard to keep in mind today the mindblowing novelty of laser viewable transmission holograms today as seen almost 60 years ago. The fact that a 2D image could be projected from any piece of a laser viewable hologram was truly unique and amazing. People who grew up in physics with holog...
