Re: How to Remove Water From Isopropyl Alcohol
anhydrous sodium sulfate is widely used as an inert drying agent, to remove trace amounts of water from organic solutions. It is more effective, but slower acting, than magnesium sulfate. It is only effective below approximately 30°C, but can be used with a variety of materials as it is quite chemic...

Re: RGB tests with HX200 photopolymer
Agfa was 1.5mm for 4x5", 3mm for larger. 1mm is fine for photopolymer, even 0.7mm. Thicker works better for DCG because DCG is formed via crosslinking, which can bend substrates that are too thin during exposure causing motion fringes. Bob, based on your great experience, what is the best proc...

Dear Ramunas, I ask you the courtesy of suggesting the procedure for sealing and protecting the Photopolymers from humidity after having exposed them. Thanks again.

Dear Ramunas, is it sufficient to follow the following procedure from your web page to make reflection holograms? ("Then these pieces were laminated with their photopolymer surface onto glass slides. To facilitate optical contact between the photopolymer layer and the glass surface or mirror su...

Re: 2 color Keith Haring
I think it is important to be able to balance the two colors by doing exposure tests in red and green. I have read that very often different batches of the same emulsion have different sensitivity curves. In any case, you can always play on the exposure times of the individual lasers. The important ...

Re: 2 color Keith Haring
Very interesting device to start the color holography. Since the color emulsions have similar sensitivities in green and red, is it possible to adjust the power emitted by the green laser to make it close to that of the red laser? Thank you.
